She worked traffic detail for 6 months until she earned her silver acorns during an initiation at the Island of Tern Mor.<br /><br />Captain Short's early Recon career is exemplary with the exception of the "Hamberg Incident". A criminal Captain Short was pursuing managed to go Topside where he proceeded to bargain with humans for asylum.
